Trogir’s city beach is located near the historic part of town, making it pretty convenient to pop down for a swim after a lovely morning walk. It’s terrain is made of fine gravel, and with the shallow sea level it makes for an easy access, especially for the children and the elderly. The sea is often warmer here than on other beaches, and a good choice for snorkeling due to the flora covering the seabed in various places. The beach is equipped with basic amenities, showers, and beach loungers and parasols for rent since there is very little natural shade surrounding it. However, there are plenty of cafes and a few restaurants adjacent to the beach as well as in the near vicinity of it, making it easy to take a break from the swimming and sunbathing and enjoy coffee, cold drinks, lunch and ice cream. The children will particularly like the inflatable water playground nearby, and one of the most charming features of the beach, a wooden swing rising from the sea.
