The Cave of St. Romuald is known as the place where this saint retired to a solitary life. The entrance is only half a meter high, and the corridors are 105 meters long. The main hall of the cave is as high as six meters. It is also home to a colony of protected bats of the species Myotis myotis, one of the last colonies of this species in Europe. The cave is closed to visitors until further notice due to protective measures.
