Galizhana is one of the oldest places in historically rich Istria.
It boasts its history and tradition dating back to ancient times and families who have lived here for centuries have passed from one generation to another. Thanks to the dialect, one of the oldest in the area, which originates directly from medieval Latin and the vernacular, sayings, anecdotes, information, stories, names, nicknames, toponyms and other features of this exceptional area have been preserved.
Galizana in miniature is a miniature replica of Galizhana designed by Giovanni Fabris. With his exhibition, he wants to portray the time as it once was, he shows the tools that were once used for everyday work, be it in the household or in the field. The project started in 2010 and after two years the exhibition opened with the first phase. The project was also covered by the media. He notes that he used as many as 30 bags of ceramic glue to make the model.
