If you are on a trip to Brijuni islands, the inevitable location are these ruins from a late antique settlement which after the collapse of the Roman Empire belonged to Byzantium. It was surrounded by defensive walls in the form of a regular floor plan, the middle filled with the remaining walls taken by the ravages of time after leaving the settlement after the eighth century.
