Labin
Labin ist eine kleine Stadt, die auf einem Hügel an der Ostküste Istriens liegt. Aufgrund seiner Lage bietet sich von der soliden, steinernen und heute gut erhaltenen Festung Fortica ein unvergesslicher Panoramablick, der bis ins nahe Rabac, Cres und das türkisfarbene Meer reicht. Labin hat eine interessante Geschichte als größtes Bergbauzentrum in ganz Kroatien, und heute können Sie hier das Bergbaumuseum in der Altstadt besuchen, das die lange Tradition des Bergbaus feiert und pflegt. Die Altstadt von Labin ist sehr pittoresk und malerisch und bietet dem Besucher eine interessante Architektur mit verflochtenen luxuriösen Barock-, Renaissance- und gotischen Elementen, die in vielen Kirchen, Palästen und Häusern zu sehen sind.

Whenever I visit Labin City, I love popping into the elegant shops located in the city and take some refreshments on the terraces of the local coffee bars.

We enjoyed the traditional foods offered in several resturants that we visited and it was delicious and the dessert options were amazing. Lovely place to visit.
