Labin is a small town built on top of a hill on the eastern coast of Istria. Due to its position, from the solid, stone and today well-preserved fortress Fortica you can experience an unforgettable panoramic view that extends to nearby Rabac, Cres and the turquoise sea. Labin has an interesting history of the largest mining center in all of Croatia, and today here you can visit the Mining Museum in the old town, which celebrates and maintains a long tradition of mining.
