The Cres City Museum, founded at the beginning of the last century, is located in the old part of the town of the same name in the premises of the 16th century Arsan Palace. The palace has a beautiful appearance adorned with sumptuous elements of the Renaissance and Gothic. As part of the museum exhibition, you will find a prehistoric and medieval archaeological collection from the entire island. Also, you will see a number of tools that were once used in agriculture, livestock, farming and fishing. Also special are traditional folk costumes, a collection of weapons and an incredibly rich collection of coins that will delight numismatists.
