The Cres Museum is one of the famous cultural institutions of the city of Cres, which was founded in 1910. It is located in the beautiful Gothic-Renaissance palace Arsan, built in the early 16th century by Antun Marcello Petris. Today, the palace is protected as a cultural asset of the town of Cres. The museum is actively involved in promoting and teaching citizens and the public about the history, traditions, customs, culture and life of people as a closed community on the island of Cres and its surroundings from ancient times to the present day.
