Paklenica National Park
Der Nationalpark Paklenica liegt auf dem rauen Velebit-Massiv und bietet zahlreiche Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, Klettern und für andere Sportarten. Der von der UNESCO als biologisches Reservat ausgewiesene Park wurde eingerichtet, um die vielfältige Flora und Fauna sowie das Gebirge selbst zu schützen. Aufgrund des exponierten weißen Gesteins auf den ansonsten kargen Bergen und der stark kontrastierenden grünen Wälder darunter bilden Mala Paklenica und Velika Paklenica ihre eigenen dramatischen hohen Wände. Der Park beherbergt zahlreiche Vogelarten und -kolonien, was ihn zu einem Paradies für Vogelbeobachter macht, und gelegentlich werden auch Wildtiere wie Bären und Wölfe gesichtet. Das Parkbüro befindet sich in Starigrad (StariGrad-Paklenica) und bietet alles, was Sie für einen sicheren Besuch benötigen, darunter Karten und andere nützliche Informationen sowie Ausstellungen und Toiletten (der Eingang befindet sich in Marasovići, etwas weiter nördlich).Heißer Tipp: Versuchen Sie, den Park in den kühleren Frühlings- oder Herbstmonaten zu besuchen, wenn er besonders grün und üppig ist.

The diversity in this place is so unique. There is a dense forest and bare land with little or no vegetation. I enjoyed hiking in this park. It was really challenging but worth it. The air was so fresh. Bird watching from the top of the peak was epic

This park is so wonderful. I hope to visit this park again. I and an amazing hiking experience. The white rocks were absolutely lovely. I saw different plant species. It was an experience I cannot even describe.

Being a bird watcher, I came here to enjoy this activity. This place had a famous park for birds. I went there an had a great time watching birds of different species. I even saw some birds that were very rare to see. My time here was great.

When I visited this place, I was provided with a map and a guide. We went to the park which had wolves and bears. I was afraid at first but my guide gave me courage to continue. We managed to sport a park of wolves sleeping under a tree. I loved this adventure.

I engaged in various active physical sporting activities while vacationing this location. My friend participated in hiking and climbing the various mountains in the location. I enjoyed the fact that they had equipment one could borrow. I will visit again soon.

My friends and I went for birdwatching in this location and I loved the different species that created their homes in this location. I learned about how they came into existence, triggers, and hot to calm them. It was a fantastic learning experience and will visit soon.
