The small town of Mlini in Croatia is the perfect place for an unforgettable vacation on the beach on the Dubrovnik Riviera, and with its 1,000 inhabitants is located about 10 kilometers from Dubrovnik. This town owes its name to its old mills, which can still be seen in the small old town. Together with other beautiful villages such as Plat and Solin, the village belongs to the municipality of Zhupa dubrovachka. Once a small fishing village, Mlini has become one of the most beautiful resorts on the Dubrovnik Riviera.During your visit to Mlini you can expect a very special landscape. In the hinterland rises a mountain range 628 meters high which draws the border with Bosnia and together with the fantastic beaches of Mlini creates an extremely enchanting atmosphere. In Mlini, but also in the surrounding area, there are many beautiful attractions and places that can be discovered. The best way to explore the city is to walk along the picturesque promenade about 2 kilometers long. It starts in the west at the Sheraton Dubrovnik hotel and ends in the east on Astarea Beach. Along the way you will find many picturesque bays, beautiful lookouts, but also amazing cafes and traditional taverns where you can taste local specialties based on fresh ingredients, mostly fish and seafood, fragrant herbs and fine wines.

The most interesting part in Mlini was checking adriatic sunsets. The hop-on-hop off tours were amazing.

I love the hot days and the blue skies at the beach , worth living for. I love the fact that there were shades and sun loungers were on would relax hand have their drinks. If you are not barefoot at the beach then you are overdressed.

The walk along the picturesque alameda was astounding. The air was peaceful except for the sound of the chirping birds whose melody was soothing and calming to my soul. The beauty of mother nature was awe-inspiring.

The traditional taverns were fascinating from the artistic art and designs used from the decor and also its structure. The lobsters and fries here are out of this world, very delicious and the white wine accompanied it best.

I am a lover of sea foods and fish. I came to this place just to enjoy fishing and trying the various traditional sea foods prepared here. I learned how to fish and a friend gave me a menu of sea foods which I carried back home. Amazing experience.
