The airport is located 2 kilometers from Vrsar. It was built in 1976 and is equipped so that it can accept and maintain smaller aircraft. It has a fuel pump, has its own hangar hangar, aircraft service, restaurant and customs office.
There is also a memorial to Dragan Garvan and Dragutin Barich, members of the Croatian air force and air defense killed in the Homeland War. Also, in this one the airport held the world parachuting championship in 1998 which numbered as many as 245 participants.
