Romuald's cave was named after a hermit who lived here for 1000 years. In his honor, here were held religious procession that such routes encompassed the nearby church and the foundation of a nearby monastery is attributed exactly to this man. Remains of some long-extinct animals were found in the cave, as well as the remains of prehistoric humans, which are the oldest found remains in Istria. Today, this cave is home to a large bat that is protected by the law, and for that and security reasons, visit s were suspended. Not far from this one, there is another cave that bears the same name but is somehow better known as a pirate cave. Today, there is a bar in the pirate cave where you can have a snack or a cocktail. The view from it extends to the lim bay and almost untouched nature.
