This beautiful church and monastery is located in the western part of the islet on the Great Lake on the island of Mljet. Baroque chapels are attached to the north and south sides of the church. During the 15th century, the smaller Romanesque monastery expanded and connected with the church, and in the 16th and 17th centuries, it acquired its present appearance.

The monastery and church has some amazing architecural structures with massive walls and towers and the history of the place is interesting. We enjoyed the tour to the place.
