On the small island of Sveta Marija within the Mljet National Park, in the middle of the sweet Great Lake, a beautiful Benedictine monastery with the church of Sv. Mary. Namely, the Benedictine order first built a monastery on the island (1177) and the church was built a little later. The church has often changed its appearance throughout history, so it has elements of the Renaissance and the magnificent Baroque.
