The Cathedral of St. Vitus in Rijeka is the only round building built in the Baroque style in the whole of Croatia. The construction of the cathedral began in 1638, and it was built on the model of the Venetian church of Santa Maria della Salute. Like the exterior, the interior of the church exudes Baroque. Almost the entire interior, the altar, the pulpit exude the unity of style of the Italian artists who were responsible for the editing. The cathedral is one of the most beautiful sights to see and a large number of visitors opt for this option.
