Najstarija plaža na otoku Korčuli, plaža Banje, omiljena je mještanima još od početka 20. stoljeća. Smjestila se u gradskom krajoliku starih kamenih kuća i modernih hotela, i to u blizini kuće u kojoj je navodno rođen slavni istraživač Marko Polo.

Teren ove plaže je raznovrsan: šljunčan i okružen plitkim morem s jedne i malom šetnicom s druge strane. Uz to, po plaži su raštrkani manji betonirani djelovi pogodni za sunčanje. Na šljunčanom dijelu plaže nema prirodnog hlada, no šetnica je omeđena zimzelenim i listopadnim drvećem te pruža lijep hlad za predah od plivanja i sunčanja.

Svi kafići i restorani nalaze se u neposrednoj blizini pa za kavu ili ručak nećete morati odšetati daleko. Bilo da se kupate, sunčate ili opuštate u hladu uživati ćete u prekrasnom pogledu na živopisnu vizuru grada Korčule.

Banje beach is famous for its old luxury villas along the beach. I spend the majority of the time in the villa and there is a unique feeling of timelessness in the old houses. The pebbled beach is suitable for sunbathing. there is many seats here where you can lay on and enjoy the day.

i enjoyed sunbathing on the concrete and pebbled areas of this location. I loved the feeling of the cool breeze hitting my skin. vacationing here was relaxing and I will visit again soon with the rest of my family.

I enjoyed sunbathing in this sea , through the shade provided by the trees. The terrain of this beach has various shapes: on one side it is covered with pebbles and shallow sea on one side and a small promenade on the other, with concrete sections scattered.All facilities needed are provided in this beach.
