Tiha - Slatina - Gradac Bay

This bay is hidden in the northern part of the island of Vis, and it is comprised of three different coves. It is a little harder to reach if you’re going by car or on foot, but it is definitely worth going in this direction to experience the peace and quiet of this solitary corner.

The left branch of the bay is known as Tiha Cove and can be easily reached by a field path leading from the neighbouring Oključna Bay (where the beach of the same name is located). The pebbled beach here is surrounded with a few cottages that serve as holiday homes, and plenty of natural shade. The middle branch of the bay is the Slatina Cove, completely solitary, and the same goes for the third, right branch of the bay called the Gradac Cove. On each of these beaches you will be welcomed by a small untouched Mediterranean wilderness, so if you want to spend the day alone and undisturbed, pack a few things and head to this unusual bay.

If you are a boater, these coves are a great choice, primarily because the difficulty of land access won’t bring a lot of people here (if anyone at all). This means you will most likely have the beach to yourself, wherever you anchor. The best for this is the Tiha Cove, where the sea is up to ten meters deep and well protected from winds.
