The Glagolitic Alley is located on the road from Roch to Hum and is the most important monument dedicated to Glagolitic. 11 separate monuments have been erected that testify to Glagolitic literature and the past. The Alley is a project of the Čakavian Parliament founded by Zvane Chrnja. It was built from 1977 to 1985. It testifies to the centers of Croatian medieval Glagolitic literature in Istria, pointing to Slavic roots and the local literacy and its continuity from the 9th century to the present day. is the Pillar of the Chakavian Parliament - a sculpture in the shape of the Glagolitic letter S, which symbolizes the first Slavic alphabet and the beginnings of Slavic literacy.
