The National Museum of Novi Vinodolski was opened to the public in 1951 on the initiative of Juraj Potočnjak. Today, the museum is located in the beautiful Frankopan Castle and the nearby Turnac Tower. In 1995, a special gallery was added to the museum, initiated by the city of Novi Vinodolski. Stalin's museum exhibition consists of several rich collections that show and learn in an interesting way about the culture, customs, traditions and history of the inhabitants of Novi Vinodolski and its surroundings. The most interesting exhibits and objects are definitely luxurious folk costumes and instruments.
