Located at the very end of the promenade in Peroj, Vesperina Beach is a beautiful white pebble-and-gravel stretch of coast overlooking the Brijuni islands.

The shallow sea and the mixed terrain make this beach a wonderful choice for families with children but also for anyone looking for that ‘wild beach’ ambience without feeling isolated. The green areas adjacent to the beach are dotted with pine trees, some of them bending towards the clear azure sea. Their natural shade makes a wonderful place for an afternoon rest and picnic, so pristine and quiet you should not be surprised if you see a squirrel or two running around.

While there are no additional amenities here, the promenade links this beach to the rest of Peroj, so bars and restaurants are easily accessible. However, we recommend packing your own lunch and experiencing that carefree Summer sensation of being in the company of the sea, the chirping crickets and the fragrant pines. Since the beach is easily accessible by car with plenty of free parking space nearby this won’t be hard to accomplish. It is certainly worth it to take an afternoon off and marvel at the setting sun as it lights up the sea and the sky at sunset time.
