The Stud Farm in Dakovo was founded in 1506, which makes it one of the oldest stud farms in Europe. Lipizzaner horses began to be bred in the early 19th century. With numerous performances in the world, Dakovo Lipizzaners spread and still spread the word about Dakovo and Dakovo region. In 1972, the Farm was visited by Queen Elizabeth II of England. The Queen drove through the city on the four-wheeler of the Dakovo Stud Farm.
