Prokljansko lake is located near the Krka National Park, ie its blue area stretches between the towns of Skradin and Shibenik in Dalmatia. The locals also call it the Prokljan Sea. The lake actually represents the lower course of the Krka River. The lake is interesting to both the public and experts because its surface is above altitude and the bottom below. Another phenomenon is that the lake mixes salty sea and fresh water. The lake is also known for shellfish farming - especially mussels and other sea fish (sea bream and sea bass), and turtles can also be seen. Every year, the lake is marked by the event - Prukljanski gushti, which with its recreational and entertainment program encourages the improvement of the tourist offer and the development of the lake and its surroundings.
