This beach is located in the heart of Komiža, surrounded by the road and the port’s breakwater on one side and a small ridge on its south-eastern end. As a pebble beach it is perfect for kids because the sea is shallow, and you’ll find plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The beach is equipped with showers, and deck chairs are available for rent. In its immediate vicinity you’ll find the port’s mooring sites, so if you’re sailing around the island of Vis this beach will make a nice spot for a break and a swim. Don’t be surprised if, while swimming, you feel the water temperature has suddenly dropped: you are probably near the fresh water spring located in the sea next to the beach.
