Church of St. Nicolas in Shibenik was built in the 17th century in the Baroque style. St. Nicholas is the patron saint of sailors, and the church belonged to the Brotherhood of Sailors and Shipbuilders. It was erected on a site near the former shipyard. Inside the church there is a wooden coffered vault painted with pictures of saints and portraits of donors in old folk costumes. The paintings are from the 18th century.
