This sandy beach is one of the most popular beaches on Korchula. With its fine and soft greyish sand that extends into the sea bed, and the shallow sea level, it is no wonder it is a favourite of the locals and tourists alike, especially families with small children. There is no natural shade on this beach so if you intend to stay for a longer period of time you might want to bring a beach parasol. A section of the beach covered with concrete slabs is bordered by a wall and several stone houses and might provide a little bit of shade, too. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants to hide in when it gets too hot, either adjacent to the beach or in the nearest possible vicinity, making it easy and convenient to pop for coffee, drinks, ice cream or lunch. While there are no additional amenities here this does not make this beach any less desirable and it remains a vivid and cheerful location all summer long. You can get to the beach by using public transportation service, and if you’re coming by car you’ll be able to park near the beach in paid parking space.
