In the 15th century, when the city walls were repaired, three additional round towers were built at the very entrance to the city, while the rectangular tower at the northwest corner already existed. The towers were built as round towers with a sloping slope at the bottom, reminiscent of towers built by the Venetians in the 15th century during the fortification of castles and ramparts in Istria and Dalmatia.Today, various exhibitions are held in the tower: an exhibition of house Christmas cribs, Mali samanj in the tower, exhibitions on the occasion of the folk festival Bartulja, etc.
