Built in 1839, on the eponymous cape, this lighthouse is one of the oldest in the Adriatic.

Its dome is perched at the height of over one hundred meters, overlooking a steep cliff. Needless to say that the view from this location is stunning. Its light is visible from the distance of 20 nautical miles, a beacon to all passing ships that the shores of Lastovo are nearby.

Whether from land or sea, the sight of the lighthouse, standing in its seascape solitude, is beautiful and dreamy. It makes for a wonderful vacation spot, too, since a part of the lighthouse has been converted into holiday apartments and can be rented.
