Located in the 16th-century Gabrielis Palace, this small but entertaining museum proudly unveiled its new English-language label in 2013. Pride on the ground floor belongs to pottery excavated from ancient Greek and Roman wrecks. There is also a replica of a fourth-century Greek tablet from Lumbarda, which heralds the founding of a Greek colony on the island, includes furniture through the centuries, photographs of World War II partisans and a reconstruction of traditional Korcula cuisine on the top floor - in the old days it was common for kitchens to be in the attic.
