The Museum of the Episcopal Treasury is located in a beautiful elegant two-storey palace on St. Mark's Square in the Old Town of Korcula. The museum is also called the Abbey Treasury of St. Mark among the locals. On the ground floor of the palace is the parish office, library and archive, while on the first floor are the rare exhibits of the Treasury. The museum also exhibits a number of lavish works of art, including paintings by the famous painter Blaž Jurjev and Tiepol. For lovers of history and the area, this is definitely an interesting museum collection that is worth visiting when you find yourself on Korcula.
