This is an amazing historical fortress which is also a church. The Church of St. Mary of Mercy is not the only historical church on the island of Hvar, but it is definitely one of the most impressive. What makes it so special is that it is a real fortress. Marija od Milosti is very unique in its design, which is a real rarity among European fortress churches.This church is the most beautiful and most impressive architectural area in Vrboska.During the tourist season the Church of St. Mary of Mercy is open from 10 to 12 and from 18 to 19 hours , but in the preseason you should announce a visit to the parish office.

Church of the fortress of St Mary is so beautiful. The design of the fortress is top-notch with amazing features.. I recommend this place for tour.

I was awed by the nature of rocks that were used to build the church.It was an amazing experience to climb up the tower with my friends as we competed who reach the top first. I enjoyed the quietness of the Church, offered a great spot for me to read. I was amazed by the interior of this church which was gothic. I enjoyed touring the church.

I visited this church and I was stunned by its uniqueness. Its design was stunning. The walls just stood out. The stones used to build it were unique. It has a wonderful history. Climbing up the tower was a nice feeling.

One of the most impressive Fortress that i visited in Croatia. I loved its unique structural design with amazing features. The shape and design of the church, High walls and huge bells is mind blowing.From the top of the tower, i loved the wonderful views of the village. I recommend this place for tour.
