The burial mounds date from 2500-400 BC, and mostly belong to the Linburn period. In Croatia, the most densely concentrated burial mounds are in the Chuh field, in the Telashchica Nature Park. Such burial mounds were used for ritual purposes or were part of a reconnaissance.
