The picturesque central venue of the town of Klanjec is rightly named after Antun Mihanovic Square, the author of the Croatian anthem "Our Beautiful Homeland". In his honor, the inhabitants of the town of Klanjec in 1910 erected a monument to him, which today adorns the main square of the town.
