Gradina Ledenice
Ponad današnjeg naselja Ledenice (Ledenice Polje), na 376 m nadmorske visine, stoje razvaline starog grada Ledenice – Gradine, važne strateške točke u okršajima koji su se vodili u istočnom dijelu Vinodola.
Naime, Osmanlijske provale sezale su do Ledenica 1522. i 1539. godine, dok Frankopani potpuno nisu izgubili vlast 1572. Tada Ledenice potpadaju pod Senjski kapetanat.
U Ledenicama se poslije madridskog mira 1617. godine odigrao i dio uskočke epopeje i tragedije, koju je hrvatski književnik August Šenoa opisao u romanu “Čuvaj se senjske ruke”. Predaja govori da je prikupljajući građu za svoj roman o uskocima, te upoznavajući staru Gradinu u pjesniku nikla misao o pjesmi “Kugina kuća”.
Danas su vidljivi ostaci tog nekadašnjeg povijesnog grada, sa ostacima četvrtaste kule i crkve svetog Stjepana.

I loved the beautiful green vegetation splashed all over the location. it is a location filled with the cultural heritage of the Croatian people.

Visiting Ledenice Fort was amazing. It was great navigating the place with wonderful buildings on strategic location. Great points to track and counter enemy.

The location provides evidence of Roman empire existence with several findings such as Roman coins and architecture style. It was a learning experience for me and my friends.
