Plaža Lanterna nalazi se na jugozapadnom dijelu otoka Vira. U sklopu ove plaže nalazi se stari svjetionik izgrađen još davne 1881. godine. Svjetionik je 1950. renoviran, a 2012. godine prenamijenjen i registriran u kuću za odmor s 5 zvjezdica imena Villa Lanterna. U neposrednoj blizini izgrađeno je malo pristanište za brodiće. Čitavi posjed je osigurana i ima svojeg stalnog zaštitara-kućepazitelja.

I loved the views of the beach during the night when it was lit up. The housekeeper who guard its premises were friendly to us and left no information untouched about its startup. Kind Hearted people live here.
