Plaža Bačvice
Plaža Bačvice legendarna je splitska plaža i svakako ju morate posjetiti tijekom boravka u Splitu. To je glavna gradska plaža, zapravo prirodni fenomen – pješčana plaža u srcu velikog grada. I sama plaža je velika pa može primiti i više od deset tisuća kupača! Bačvice su mjesto gdje je nastala igra picigin. Picigin je igra s loptom u plićaku, a toliko je stekla popularnost diljem Dalmacije da je čak proglašena kulturnim nasljeđem. Posjetiteljima su na raspolaganju tuševi, sanitarni čvor i kabine za presvlačenje. Postoji mogućnost najma ležaljki i suncobrana. Ugostiteljski objekti na plaži nude za svakoga ponešto – od hladnih pića do tradicionalnih dalmatinskih specijaliteta. Navečer, Bačvice postaju jedna velika zabava.

It was super fun to be part of the pickin game with the friendly locals. We had access to showers, toilets and changing cabins which were well maintained and neat. I loved every touch of this beach.

For the first time, I was at the beach in the city! It was a great experience in Split. Everything from the people to the services were amazing. The fact that they offer catering services and even have access to amenities like showers, toilets and changing rooms or cabins was a plus for me. Also found out that the Picgin game actually originated here at Split. I forgot to carry a parasol but I was lucky to rent one. P.S the people are as amazing as the place itself.

It was delighting to stay in a sandy beach at the heart of the city as i enjoyed the beautiful views of the city. The beach was large enough to accomodate me and my friends. Will definitely come back for another superb vacay experience.

Large sandy beach that is crowded with people and enough space that allowed us to go swimming. We carried umbrellas for shade and there are lots of amazing activities to enjoy and get involved. There are toilets, changing places and showers at the beach as well as beach bar that offers great drinks and food too.

A beautiful sandy beach perfect for the kids found in the heart of a big city. The waters are shallow and the kids enjoyed playing Picigin a ball game invented here at Bachvice.

The beach had shallow waters and it makes it easy for walking in the sea and doing other things. We visited the beach with my family and kids and they enjoyed themselves at the beach and went swimming on the warm temperatures of the day. Lovely place.
