Der Strand Vela luka befindet sich im Südosten der Insel Krk, ganz am Ende der Bucht Vela luka. Dieser Kiesel- und Kiesstrand ist eine gute Wahl für alle, die ein ruhigeres Stranderlebnis in der natürlichen Umgebung von Meeresfelsen und Höhlen bevorzugen.

Obwohl dieser Strand etwas weit entfernt ist, finden Sie hier die grundlegenden Annehmlichkeiten: Toiletten, Sonnenschirme und Liegestühle zum Ausleihen. Für den kleinen Hunger zwischendurch gibt es direkt am Strand ein Restaurant, das für das leibliche Wohl sorgt. Der Zugang zum Wasser ist hier einfach, da das Meer sehr flach ist, so dass auch Kinder und diejenigen, die noch nicht so gut schwimmen können, sich hier wohlfühlen werden.

Sie können diesen Strand nicht mit dem Auto erreichen, aber Sie können ihn mit dem Boot oder zu Fuß erreichen. Wenn Sie sich für den Seeweg entscheiden, können Sie im Hafen von Baschka ein Taxiboot mieten. Wenn Sie jedoch Lust auf ein kleines Abenteuer haben, können Sie den Wanderweg vom Buncaluka-Camp aus nehmen, der Sie über den kleinen Hügel und hinunter in die Bucht von Vela luka führt. Für die Strecke benötigen Sie etwa 2,5 bis 3 Stunden, je nachdem, wie schnell Sie sind, aber die Wanderung selbst ist ein schönes Erlebnis und die Strandlandschaft ist es allemal wert. Vergessen Sie nicht, Ihre besten Wanderschuhe zu tragen und reichlich Wasser und einen Hut mitzunehmen, da es hier keinen natürlichen Schatten gibt.

This amazing small pebble and fine gravel beach was so cool to sunbathe on. It is easily accessible on foot or by car and it does have countless facilities and amenities. There are toilets, changing rooms and bathrooms. You can also rent a number of equipment for various beach activities and they also have bars and restaurants so you can grab something to bite or drink. There is also a kids’ playground so the kids get to do something other than swim in the sea water. There are water activities for grown-ups too! So naturally it is a very crowded place because of its popularity.

What i loved most about this beach is that it accommodates people with disabilities too, with the wheel chairas trail fitted everywhere in the beach. The beach restaurant had an ample space with a rich menu on offer for a family lunch. My kids enjoyed their time watching the aqua animals in the aquapark.

I went swimming on arrival at the pebble beach with the other and the cold water was what i needed for the summer vacation. Amenities are available and we rented shades that was great for everybody and teh restaurants offer good food that i enjoyed. We were entertained by the sporting activities at the beach and had the best time of our lives.

I felt comfortable sunbathing on the terrain of the beach that has small pebbles and fine gravels. It was easy to access the sea water because the sea is shallow. Had a good time swimming here.

If you feel the sea is too crowded for you there is a swimming pool for swimmers and a sports facility for different games. We were a group of travellers travelling together in groups and the beach bars were many and big enough to accomodate large numbers.
