Svetište, crkva i samostan sv. Ivana Kapistrana
Franjevci u Iloku prvi put se spominju u 14. stoljeću kada vojvoda Ugrin podiže crkvu. Na čast i slavu svetog Ivana Kapistrana, nakon njegove smrti, produžio ju je i obnovio upravo kralj Nikola. Kapistran je svetim proglašen 1690. godine, a ćelija-kapelica u kojoj je bolovao i umro 1456. očuvana je u prvotnom stanju. Danas je posjećuju hodočasnici i znatiželjnici te u njoj pronalaze duhovnu snagu i vjeru kojom zrače čitava crkva i samostan.

The location radiated religious strength for the pilgrims. It was an honor to experience this and be able to talk about it.

We toured the church and had the chance to see the cell- chapel that was used back in the day and preservatives of famous historic timeline and people.

The site holds great history and wonderful preserved relics, both inside and outside had lovely mural paintings, i loved the history lesson
