Die Fortica in Kastav ist eigentlich ein Kieselsteinplateau mit hohen wilden Kastanienbäumen und Bänken, von denen aus man einen herrlichen Panoramablick auf die Kvarner-Bucht und den gegenüberliegenden Berg Uchka genießen kann.

Fortica has a long history. It is the spot that was bullt during croatian-German war as a primary point of defence.

Excellent dishes at the restaurant offering diverse dishes and i enjoyed the delicious mushroom and veli. The mystique view of the landscape was unmatched and heavenly.

The great looking fortica looms high above the town and glows during the night. Fascinating place we spend our tour. A nice place to ignite new memories.
