Zadar's southwestern waterfront is an excellent place for a walk, a trip or even a jump into the sea for a quick swim. As the sun rises in the sky, people descend on the waterfront watching one of the best shows on the Adriatic. Alfred Hitchcock described the Zadar sunset as "the most beautiful sunset in the world" during his 1964 visit.
