The quaint little Church of Saint Anthony, sitting in the lovely Novalja Field, less than 2 km from the center of Novalja, is the starting point of the eponymous St. Anthony’s Hiking Trail. This walking tour is a family-friendly activity; the trail includes macadam roads, grass-covered paths and rocky terrain, and you can choose where and how to wander about: on foot or by bike, in the open sun down the meadows or through the small vineyards and olive groves, looking for a shade.

You can take a break by one of the drystone walls and wall enclosures, a famous feature of the Mediterranean landscape, and enjoy a picnic, and continue back to the Church of St. Anthony to finish your tour at your own pace.
