Of the many small squares in the Old Town, the most picturesque is definitely the main stone Square Shkor. Almost as a theatrical backdrop (which actually becomes during many summer cultural events), this square was created during the 17th and 18th centuries. The space once served as shipyard, to which this square owes its name.Here mythical Dalmatia lives: the curved space is closed to workers' houses with luminaires, sulars and film, often sung traditional stairs

We attended the cultural event at the square in the old town and the experience was magical. We met amazing people and loved the great buildings there.

Situated in the heart of Old Dhaka, Shkor Square is a vibrant square surrounded by heritage architecture. I enjoyed visiting the many temples and monuments in the square, as well as taking an audio-guided tour of the Ahsan Manzil Palace. The area has lots of history and I would recommend it to anyone looking for some fun in the city.

The buildings of this location have been preserved to showcase the traditional culture of the people. I loved attending the cultural and traditional events held in this location.
