Najpoznatija pješčana gradska plaža je Kraljičina plaža, šetnjom udaljena oko 10 minuta od centra grada. Ako do nje idete autom, naplata parkinga vrši se prije ulaska na plažu sve do 18 sati, a cijena za cijeli dan iznosi 10 kuna. Zanimljivost ove plaže je i što prije dolaska na nju morate prijeći desetak metara dugi plićak, nakon kojeg vas čekaju stotine metara pješčanog užitka. More je plitko i toplo, što je osobito pogodno za obitelji s djecom, ali treba znati da vjetroviti dani nisu rijetkost. U sklopu plaže nalazi se i ljekovito blato, koje ima pozitivne učinke kod ljudi sa zdravstvenim tegobama, dok je od sportskih sadržaja najpopularniji kitesurfing. Laguna je poznata još i pod imenom „Kraljičina plaža“, a idealna je za obitelji s djecom zbog svog plitkog mora i toplih temperatura. Od dodatnog sadržaja na plaži Laguna se nalaze vanjski tuševi, javni wc, kabine za presvlačenje, a postoji i mogućnost iznajmljivanja ležaljki i suncobrana. Ukoliko se želite osvježiti tijekom ljetnih vrućina na plaži se nalaze brojni barovi, restorani i ostali ugostiteljski objekti u kojima možete uživati u velikoj ponudi dalmatinskih specijaliteta.

This sandy city beach boasts a 10 meter long shoal before you get to the beach and it is suitable for families with children. Kitesurfing is very common considering it is windy. The sea is shallow and warm and there is healing mud. There are outdoor showers, public toilets, changing cabins and you can rent deck chairs and umbrellas.For food and drinks,there are restaurants and other catering facilities.

We had brought our grandma who had health problems here to apply the healing mud on her body. And true to it, the healing mud had a positive effect on her body, she healed. Ourselves we engaged in kitesurfing which ignited our adrenaline.

What i loved most about this beach, is crossing the shoals before reach it. On arrival, it was pleasurable to walk barefoot on the sands. My kids enjoyed swimming in the shallow and warm water of the sea.

The summer had us travel to the sandy beach and it was amazing. We enjoyed the healing mud experience with the kids and availability of showers, changing cabins, parasols and toilets made the experience even more comfortable. The kids went kitesurfing among other activities and later we visited the famous restaurant and had the taste of the Dalmatian specialties.

I really did not like the fact that if i come with my car parking is charged before entering the beach until 6 pm,so i would advise you walk which is about ten minutes from the city center. Windy days are not uncommon here hence always a little hopeful for kitesurfing. If you have never tried it please do it is amazing.
