Die Festung Mirabela befindet sich an der Spitze des historischen Zentrums von Omish und ist eines der Wahrzeichen der Stadt. Sie wurde im 13. Jahrhundert als Späherin vor dem Feind erbaut. Von hier aus verfolgten die Piraten von Omis den Feind und konnten Alarm schlagen, noch bevor sich feindliche Schiffe der Stadt nähern konnten. Von der Festung aus hat man einen Blick auf das gesamte Omiš und den Brach-Kanal. Die Festung besteht aus 4 Stockwerken, und an der Spitze befindet sich ein wunderschöner Aussichtsturm. Die Festung ist von der Altstadt aus zu erreichen. Der Fußweg dauert etwa 10 Minuten, wobei ein Teil steiler ist.

Mirabela fortress has an amazing paranomic view. Climbing a narrow ladder to the top is what I enjoyed a lot.

Nice old fortress at the rocks that i visited and the rich medieval history was intresting with great views of the beach and the city.

The view from the top in the night was awesome and it is a very cheap place to visit. We had a great time walking to the top it was like a hiking adventure
