Mit seiner ständigen Ausstellung und zahlreichen Ausstellungen aus dem eigenen Bestand oder dem anderer kroatischer Museen ist es in die Feierlichkeiten zu wichtigen kulturellen und historischen Ereignissen eingebunden. Es befindet sich in einem der schönsten architektonischen Bauwerke von Rijeka aus dem Ende des 19. Im Park vor dem Museum befinden sich Torpedoabschussrohre, die daran erinnern, dass diese Waffe in Rijeka erdacht, entwickelt, zum ersten Mal getestet und dann viele Jahrzehnte lang produziert wurde!

I loved the museum's architecture and exhibits. We visited as a family and each of us loved it there. Ideal for families and young explorers

There are a lot of places worth visiting in Rijeka. One of the most beautiful places is maritime and historical museum called "Prirodnog Zavoda Znanosti". I visited this place with friends and we had a good time there because it was very interesting. We saw old ship models, photos about trade ships and Rijeka commerce, picture about different fish species and many more.
