Lun Olive Gardens

Situated in the north of Pag Island and 18 km from Novalja, the Lun Olive Gardens are a home to over 80 000 trees.

Over 1500 of these are the Olea oleaster linea, a wild olive so rare that it makes the Lun Olive Grove unique in the Mediterannean. The unique architecture of the natural forms of the Lun Gardens’ olive trees, interlaced with stones are often reminiscent of the Pag lace designs. This natural beauty is only surpassed by the longevity of the olive trees here - a lot of them are over a thousand years old. This is why the Lun Gardens have been declared a botanical reserve.

The path running through the 1300 hectares (3200 acres) of the Gardens is suitable for walking, jogging or a bike ride, and whatever of these you choose to do you will be doing it in the lovely shade of a thousand years old olive trees.
