Der Varazdin-See ist ein künstlicher Stausee, der etwa 10 Kilometer vom Zentrum von Varazdin entfernt liegt und an der Drau liegt. Am See gibt es einen Damm und ein Wasserkraftwerk. In der Nähe gibt es zwei ähnliche, aber kleinere Seen - den Ormoz-See und den Dubrava-See. Heute ist der See ein hervorragendes und beliebtes Ziel zum Schwimmen, Baden und Angeln. Obwohl es keine zusätzlichen Einrichtungen für die Erholung und einige unterhaltsame Aktivitäten am See gibt, kann man hier entspannen und heiße Sommertage verbringen.

Excellent place that i visited and went for an evening walk with my dog and the experience was fantastic. Decided to go swimming and fishing and it was therapeutic with amazing things to have fun with and absolutely loved the place.

This is an artificial lake where hydroelectric power is generated from. Best thing in this place is that they offer swimming classes to the learners, I was lucky to be one. I was delighted to learn many things.

We enjoyed fishing and swimming at this artificial reservoir. I did not even know how to handle a fishing rod but now i do and the experience was beautiful. There is a dam and a hydroelectric power plant on the lake felt like i was going back o my highschool years during a geography class tour. Unfortunately, there are no additional facilities for recreation and some fun activities on the lake. This is just a good place for relaxing on those hot summer days.

I had never practiced fishing before but the locals gave me an opportunity to join them. I later relaxed on the warm sands while taking moving pictures for memories. This is the best place to spend hot summer holidays.

This is an amazing artificial destination where you are able to enjoy the cool breeze of the water and even swim and fish. There's no additional facilities here so this is definitely a place you just want to come and relax away from the noise and glare of people.
