At 879 meters above sea level is Japetić as the highest peak of the Samobor hills. The favorite picnic spot of the local population and lookpoint was built in 1889. Several paths leading to the lookout point offer unforgettable views of the nearby peaks of Sljeme, Oshtrc, Okich, Klek, Pleshivica, Sv, Gera, and even Bjelolasica, Risnjak, and in clear weather even towards the Alps.
