Istruga Beach (Smokvica / Brna) is a small sandy beach in Istruga Bay on the south coast of Korcula. The beach has a restaurant and sports and recreation center with 2 tennis courts, and is surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation. Istruga Bay also stands out with a six meter deep layer of sea mud which has great therapeutic value.

After visiting Istruga beach I got to learn about the mediterranean vegetation helpful for people suffering from asthma. There is also an entertainment center with tennis terrains where we ended up spending the best part of our day there at the beach.

The layer of sea mud was totally what made me want to visit this place after hearing how therapeutic it felt. True to people's words it really was. I was able to play tennis with some new friends I made there and really enjoyed the mediterranean vegetation that surrounded the beach. This place really is worth the getaway.

If you like small beaches with few people Istruga beach should be on your bucket list. the beach as white soft sand and beautiful blue waters. In close proximity is the a bustling town with numerous activities on your disposal. If you a looking for a place to burn work pressure then this is the place you should be.
