The Baska Homeland Museum was opened to the public in 1970 and is located in the center of the town, in the beautiful house of teacher Nikola Pajalic next to the parish church of the Holy Trinity  The museum exhibit displays exhibits from the daily life of the inhabitants of Baška and the rest of the island of Krk, such as folk costumes, works of art and household inventory. The task of the museum is to bring closer to the public the traditions, customs and culture of the locals through history. Especially interesting is the memorial room of Dr. Zdenka Cermakova, who at that time was actually the only doctor on the island of Krk, and spent her life helping the community. The inventory of her home after her death is shown as a museum collection.
