Along the river Jadro, east of Salona, are the remains of churches in a site known to people for centuries under the very picturesque name Hollow Church. The name comes from the time when the walls of a neglected church with a collapsed roof stood on it, 1571.

These remains of a three-nave basilica dedicated to St. Peter and Moses stood at the end of the 17th and the beginning of the 18th century, because the new picturesque inhabitants of Solin, who moved there at the time, gave it that picturesque name. The 11th-century church, associated with the coronation of Ban Zvonimir as Croatian king in 1075, was built inside a large early Christian basilica, probably from the 6th century.
